LyllahRaven Designs: You Are My Sunshine

This is the first kit that I have worked with for LyllahRaven Designs, so I am pretty excited!!  It is a beautiful kit that reminds me to look for those rainbows after the rain, and to always remember that my children are my joy and happiness.  They are the sunshine in my life!!  You can buy the kit here at GDS.

Regrouping

I had to make a decision because my mental and emotional health were suffering.  I had taken on too much and so I made a decision a while back to withdraw from all of my CT responsibilities.  It was becoming too much for me.  Whew!  What a huge weight off of my shoulders.  But, I missed it!!  So, this past month I promised myself not to get to caught up and overwhelmed with everything, so I accepted a new position with LyllahRaven Designs, a new designer to GDS.  I am happy to be back at one of the places that I started.  And I am happy to be back in the saddle of scrapping again, especially considering the box of pictures I have sitting in the corner of my living room.  The goal this year is to get them scanned and digitally organized.  After all, that is what I set out to do 7 years ago when I first started digiscrapping.  I think the goals are going to be focused more on creating those memories, telling the stories behind the pictures and making the books for my children to be able to sit down and look through.  No small task, but it needs to be done considering I am a slacker Mom who hasn't kept a baby book for her children at all *hangs head in shame*.  So, I am regrouping.  I am focusing on me and my family and actually preserving those memories.
